The Utah Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum honors men and women whose lives exemplify the independence and resilience of those who helped shape Utah. This includes artists, champions, entertainers, musicians, ranchers, writers and individuals—past and present—who promote and preserve the Western way of life.
Nominations for induction into the Utah Cowboy Hall of Fame must be received no later than March 31st each year. All nominations are reviewed by an anonymous selection committee, which evaluates submissions and casts an allotted number of votes. Final inductees will be selected and announced in May.
The 2026 Utah Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 27th, at the Union Station in Ogden, Utah.
